Agreement

These Terms govern your access to AI Council, including the public website, customer dashboard, API, command-line tools, usage metering, billing features, and any related support. By creating an account, starting checkout, using an API key, or calling the service, you agree to these Terms.

If you use AI Council for a company or team, you confirm that you are allowed to bind that company or team to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

What AI Council Does

AI Council provides multi-model review for software and AI-agent workflows. A request may be checked by several model providers, scored, summarized, and returned with council feedback, risk notes, or a stop/escalation signal depending on your plan and configuration.

The service is intended to help with code review, prompt review, implementation planning, risk review, and agent governance. It is not a replacement for professional engineering judgment, security review, legal review, compliance review, or production testing.

Accounts, Passwords, and API Keys

  • You must provide accurate account information and keep your login credentials secure.
  • API keys are secret credentials. Do not publish them, commit them to source control, share them in public logs, or expose them in client-side code.
  • You are responsible for all activity under your account and API keys unless the activity was caused by AI Council's own systems.
  • We may revoke keys, rotate credentials, or suspend access if we detect abuse, fraud, exposed keys, chargebacks, or behavior that threatens the service.

Acceptable Use

You may not use AI Council to harm other people, attack systems, evade security controls, distribute malware, spam, scrape unlawfully, violate intellectual property rights, or process content that you do not have the right to submit.

You may not overload the API, bypass metering, resell access without written permission, create duplicate accounts to avoid limits, or interfere with the service's billing, security, or availability.

Plans, Credits, and Limits

Paid plans include monthly Council Credits and feature limits shown on the pricing page, checkout page, dashboard, or a written agreement. Credits measure use of AI Council review features. Credits are not money, gift cards, stored value, or cryptocurrency.

Unused monthly credits may expire at the end of the billing period. Enterprise or custom plans may have separate terms if agreed in writing. We may adjust feature packaging, rate limits, and credit costs, but changes that materially affect an active paid plan will not be applied retroactively to charges already completed.

Billing and Cancellation

Subscriptions are billed through Stripe. By starting checkout, you authorize Stripe to charge the selected payment method for recurring subscription fees, applicable taxes, and plan changes. Billing dates, invoices, payment methods, and cancellations may be managed through the customer dashboard or Stripe billing portal when available.

You can cancel renewal before the next billing period. Cancellation stops future renewal but does not automatically refund already completed charges. Refund requests are handled under the Refund Policy.

AI Output and Review Results

AI model output can be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, biased, or unsafe. Council feedback is a decision-support tool, not a guarantee that code, prompts, infrastructure, or business decisions are correct or safe.

You remain responsible for reviewing output, testing code, verifying security, checking licenses, complying with laws, and deciding whether to ship or rely on any recommendation.

Your Content

You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant AI Council the limited permission needed to process, route, analyze, transmit, display, and return that content to provide the service, operate security controls, meter usage, and support your account.

Do not submit secrets, regulated data, personal data, confidential third-party data, or production credentials unless your use case and agreement explicitly allow it. You are responsible for having the rights and permissions needed to submit content to AI Council and its model providers.

Availability and Changes

AI Council may change, pause, or discontinue features as the product develops. We try to keep the service reliable, but we do not promise uninterrupted access, error-free results, or permanent availability of any specific model provider, route, plan, endpoint, or integration.

Disclaimers and Liability

The service is provided as is and as available. To the maximum extent allowed by law, AI Council disclaims implied warranties including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the maximum extent allowed by law, AI Council will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost data, business interruption, or production decisions made from AI output.
